Well, it's been a busy weekend for me, so I haven't had a chance to do this lately. I had about 5 hours worth of audio to listen through. The first item has been in the news, an infant girl struck by a car on East 6th Street on Saturday. The news is saying that she is expected to make a full recovery. This audio is between 12:24pm and 1:05pm on Saturday, June 19th.

A minor fight, then a Buckholts fire
It's been a fairly quiet couple of days. The only things of any interest are a supposed fight, and a fire in Buckholts.
Firstly, Cameron PD was called to East Housing at 8:45 Wednesday night, for what could have been a fight, but turned out to be only verbal. It sounded like it could have turned into more, but the guys causing the trouble split when they heard the police were coming. This is 3:30 long, and takes place between 8:45 and 9:10pm.

Another fight Sunday night on Bowie
Cameron PD, Milam County deputies, and DPS all went to 201 North Bowie in Cameron at about 8:40 Sunday night. They had another fight there, the same location where a fight broke out late Saturday night. They made several arrests, and were headed to the jail at 9:37pm. Then at 9:50, someone said there was fighting at the same location AGAIN. But this time, when police arrived, there was no fight to be found. This recording ends at 10:00pm.

A mostly boring Sunday afternoon
The only thing of interest this afternoon was a 1-vehicle rollover accident. It happened about 3:30, on Highway 36 south of Milano, near the roadside park. The driver was apparently ok, refusing transport by EMS. Two deputies helped with traffic control, while DPS investigated. This is about 8 minutes.

Lots of Cameron fights overnight
I'm playing with recording my police scanner. Here's the audio from early Sunday morning.

Cameron had several fights. It's compressed, so there are no gaps in between. This 16-minutes was between 2:25 and 4:10am. I recorded more than this, but this was the most interesting segment. Listen to the audio if you want to hear some of the names of the people involved:
2:25am - Cameron PD responded to a fight behind Mike's Convenience Store at 2nd & Bowie. They later said it was only a medical emergency, not a fight. A woman was unconscious, but she came to and left before the ambulance arrived.
3:06am - Cameron PD had a report of one guy chasing another with a knife on Mesquite Ave. They spent a lot of time investigating at this location.
3:10am - Yet another fight for Cameron PD, this one at East Housing on East 21st Street. It was over when the police got there.
3:59am - Someone called and said the guy from the fight at East Housing was back stirring up trouble again. Police went again, but again nothing was happening when they arrived.
4:07am - Back to Mesquite Avenue again; the suspect there was reportedly driving by the house again.
